How does purchasing from JC Maynard Studios work?

At JC Maynard Studios, we sell digital sheet music and operate on the honor system. The purchase of a score is the purchase of licensed use for one ensemble (or individual if solo repertoire/ personal use). Prices are fixed, regardless of ensemble membership. Though photocopies may be created and digital PDFs distributed within the purchasing ensemble, distribution to other parties is strictly prohibited. Works with part scores may be combined into a singular PDF for ease of online sale. Part tracks and/or MIDI demos are available by request for select works. Please feel free to contact the composer with any inquiries, as he is happy to communicate through the rehearsal and performance process.

As required by U.S. law, all public performances of purchased works must be reported through the performers’ venue to a performing rights organization or PRO (all works registered through ASCAP — American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). Purchasers agree that Joshua C Maynard retains exclusive rights to share, publish, or remove any audio and/or video recordings of performances of his compositions and arrangements.
